Private Tutoring Sessions
You’ll never have to wonder about progress because your child will receive 12 tutoring sessions to reinforce the skills their learning through the self-paced online course. Each session includes student learning plus a parent debrief.
Step 1. Choose your payment option.
After you enroll your child, you'll receive a welcome confirmation email in your inbox.
Once you register for the course, you’ll have immediate access. Please check your email and be sure to write down your password.
Step 2. Submit your Student Intake Form.
Click here to complete your Student Intake Form. This information is used to set up your child’s online reading diagnostic and to mail you your phonics flashcards. The diagnostic will tell us the areas of reading your child is doing well in and where they need more support. Once the reading diagnostic is complete, I will email you their results.
NOTE: I recommend having your child complete the diagnostic before starting the course so I can give you a clearer idea for which video they should start watching first. Every student has a different starting point depending on their needs.
Step 3. Check your email for Reading A-Z (RAZ)
Reading A-Z (RAZ) is the program you’ll have access to for the next 12 months. It allows your child to read leveled books which is what helps improve their reading over time. Read this article to learn more about leveled books.
Once I set up your child’s account, RAZ sends you an automated email so you can set up your password. I will preset your child’s independent reading level based on the results of their reading diagnostic.
